The most notable thing about Kodi is that he is a highly intelligent dog, his extreme intelligence can be considered his Rama’jai in that sense. He is very cunning and clever, and great at coming up with plans. Neither good nor bad, he is rather morally grey. He has a very conflicted sense of what’s right and wrong. Kodi is also a very charming and witty dog. This can make it easy for him to trespass on other clans’ territories. To a degree, he is somewhat manipulative. He is willing to manipulate if something good will come out of it. He is also incredibly blunt. He says things as they are, and will not hesitate to express his opinion, even if it means hurting someone’s feelings. To a handful of dogs, he seems mysterious and even rude. Even those who know him don’t have a complete idea of what he is like; only those closest to him do. In truth, Kodi is a very loyal dog, even if he seems morally conflicted. Once an Ah’mir, always an Ah’mir.

HISTORY ⌛

Kodi has always been street-smart from a young age. Born and raised on the streets, Kodi had quite a rough life and was forced to “grow up” when he was still a puppy. He was born to a semi-famous former show dog named Sirius, and an unknown female stray who was absent from Kodi and his siblings’ lives not too long after they were born. The stray had conceived Kodi and his siblings unwillingly. Sirius was incredibly egotistical and having offspring was important to him so he could have his legacy carried on, even though he became a stray after deciding to kill his owner as a so-called “mercy killing” when he developed a deadly illness. After Kodi and his siblings were born, Sirius raised them by himself, teaching them how to be tough. He was by no means a good father, and appeared to only see his children as his own creations instead of family.

As Kodi grew older, Sirius began to see particular potential in the pup, and favored him over his other siblings. This “special treatment” caused Kodi to slowly develop a sense of superiority over those “lesser than him” that he still has today, but he has slowly learned that, whether he likes it or not, everyone is equal in some way. As a result, Sirius was harder on Kodi. Mistakes were not allowed to be made, and if they were, Kodi was punished, even for things that weren’t his fault.

Once Kodi was 6 months old, he was left to fend for himself when Sirius decided that it was time for him to live life as a lone street dog. Somehow, he managed to survive thanks to the skills he learned over time, but being alone was not a pleasant experience for him. Eventually, he found the Ah’mir Clan, which became his new family.

As time passed, Kodi’s presence in the Ah’mir Clan proved to be promising. With his smarts, strength, and wit, some of his clanmates felt like he was going to climb up the ranks easily. Chief Greyo’miera particularly saw potential in the dog, and eventually, Kodi was promoted to General.
