Li'ELIRI'KURUK OF GRAIR'FAR
2 YRS 7 MONTHS | NONBINARY | 16 INCH | 23 LBS |
| AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG/BEAGLE | apollo_wo |
PERSONALITY ⚘♔ It takes an hour to appreciate someone ♔
These traits don't stop them from having the ole' hound stubbornness. Tending to be set on a decision or way of thinking. And getting embarrassed if he has to go back on his word. Their hatred for humans extends past many of his peers. Feeling betrayed by his clans old owner. For his poor care of them and subsequent abandonment.
His father Mali'zelfa. As sly as the animal he was named for. Managed to escape the fenced yard his pack was kept in. And ended up meeting a turned-around ah'mir dog. Specifically a beautiful Australian cattle dog named Nook'Skri. While the aura around their meeting was tense at first. Eventually they where able to de-escalate the situation. And ended up finding out they rather liked eachother. After parting ways. The pair managed to meet again and feelings quickly blossomed between the two.
They arranged to meet every seven sunsets when Ridna'hin was open entirely. Under an ancient oak tree. Eventually confessing their love to each other under that very oak. After spending a passionate night together. It became clear over the course of a few months that she was pregnant. With her clans growing suspicions about the father she- after conversing with Zelfa- decided to go to her most loyal friend. Alo'fli, who while disapproving. Agreed to cover for her and pretend to be the child's father. As well as Zelfa and her agreeing to change their meeting time to only to when Ridna'hin is fully closed.
The day of their pup's birth was a quiet affair. Kept away from the prying eyes of her clan. While two of her pups could pass as her and Alo'fli's children Eliri was not as lucky. Eventually, it was agreed that he would be taken back to his pack with their father. The pup was able to slip relatively unnoticed into the crowded yard. But that still left the question of who would nurse him. As the pup had been taken from his mother unweaned. A gentle dog by the name of Aye'humu'Elu stepped up to the plate. A new mother Eliri fit right in with her litter.
To be honest with you, dear reader. Eliri'kuruk 's life was relatively uneventful after this point (for a dog at least). I could talk about the little things. What slowly shifted them into the dog he is today. But I think I will skip a few months ahead.
It seemed like any other day. His clan was operating as normal, But then- in only a few moments- their grimm seemingly vanished. Having taking his things with him and fled. Leaving his dogs behind. They waited day and night for his return. Soon Eliri's shock and sadness grew into anger. Anger at him for abandoning them. He called his clan together with one mighty howl and campaigned for them to leave the yard they had lived in their whole life. Set off as free dogs and take the land as their own.
A few stayed behind, hesitant to let the young dog take charge and wary of leaving their home. But many also joined him. Setting off through the exact same loose fence board that his father had escaped through. They journeyed far from the clan. And as they walked farther and farther from their former home. Eliri dubbed them the Grair'far. A mighty clan of a thousand howls. Their voices ringing together to create a symphony calling to those that dwell in the stars.

They fled into the forest. Lured in by the bounty of prey and seclusion. Ending up in a rotting manor which they made their base. For awhile peace was upon them again. Their new life was hard. But not without it's positives. However, unknown to them the clans howling and general rowdiness lured to dog catchers their location. Eventually they where ambushed. The clan was caught off guard by the sudden appearance and taken to the shelter. Though they where once again in the custody of grimm. And a missing a few of the stragglers not present for the attack. The clan was able to mostly unite after the earthquake. Pulling eachother up from the rubble and uniting under Eliri once more.
