RU'SHASKA OF AH'MIR CLAN
PERSONALITY ⚘
♔ It takes an hour to appreciate someone ♔
Ru'Shaska is a mutt through and through. Her breed ancestry consists largely of beagle, golden retriever, German shepherd, and who knows what else. Thanks to her hound lineage, she has a very keen nose and this would serve to be one of her greatest skills. Her prowess for sniffing out things makes her talented at foraging and scavenging for food and other items. Despite being good at tracking scents, her impulsivity makes hunting prey a challenge for her. But she is young and has potential to learn.
When Ru is alone, she is usually inclined to be submissive when faced with a threat. If she is with a group of other dogs, she acts much braver. After she lost her old pack, she has longed to make connections. Ru is loyal to a fault, and this makes her easily influenced. Because of this, when she meets dog she admires she might follow them with blind loyalty and without question. She also loves to eat, and easily trusts others who give her food.

Eventually, all of the puppies did find homes except for Ru. She was full of energy and caused a lot of trouble. For some reason, her breeders did not take her to the shelter. Perhaps they were worried about what the shelter would do because of the town's hate for unwanted strays. Instead, out of desperation, they put her in a box that said "FREE PUPPY" and dumped her at the park. She simply jumped out of the box. From that moment forward, she became a stray dog running off into an adventure and never looking back.
At nearly six months old, Ru was able to survive on her own because she had a keen nose, thanks to her hound ancestry. She was very good at foraging for food, and Ru was not a picky eater at all and ate anything that was edible. Whether it was eating bugs, or digging up people's gardens, or finding scraps in town, she got the calories somehow. This wasn't the only thing that kept her alive. She met other strays. Some were unfriendly, but some took pity on her. They sometimes would share their food, or help teach her how to secure her own.
Ru's curiosity kept her moving. She never stayed in one place for very long, always running off to explore somewhere new. Because of this, she never got too involved with packs until she met a group of dogs who had territory near the river. The river side dogs were a small pack, but they would become like a family to her. She received the name Ru'Shaska, "River Foot", because she was constantly diving into the water for fun and was great swimmer. They taught her how to hunt ducks on the shore, and she killed her first prey by herself.
After only a few months of this pack lifestyle, the town's dog catchers came for them. Apparently, the river side dogs were a menace because they would raid the restaurant trash, steal from fishermen, and leave droppings. It was because of these reasons that the dog catchers came after Ru. The dog catchers snagged her and took her away to the pound, where she and all of the other strays in town were being rounded up. The earthquake happened and now the rest is history. What awaits her now?
