GENERAL HULI OF RITH'R FLIK CLAN
PERSONALITY ⚘
♔ It takes an hour to appreciate someone ♔
You will always find him at the head of a battle or group giving an encouraging speech and barking orders. In no way is Huli a coward. He is willing to face danger head on, especially if it means defending his clan mates. He's best known for his cleverness, bravery, and quick thinking in a tight situation.
Gruff and war-ready he may be, but Huli is not without emotion. He can be quite sensitive! And his sense of humor at times is top notch. Don't be afraid to try to share a laugh with Huli. Provided that he's not involved in something 'serious', he'll probably join you.
He refers to the pups of the clan as "Aba'navir" or "small warriors." Quite often you'll see him leaning in to give a bit of hushed advice to a pup if he feels that they need help with battle training or hunting practice. Other times he will catch their eye and give them a nod of approval if he likes what he sees. He keeps tabs on all of the young ones of the clan in an effort to "shape them right up" into proper Rith'r Flik.
He's a bit of a pirate. "Take what you can and give nothing back!" He takes great pleasure in helping plan out a raid on the other clans in order to feed his own, grinning through the plot as if he were still a mischievous pup. When he returns home from his ventures, he will eagerly tell the story with a dramatic flair to all who didn't have the pleasure of joining the party. "There I was,nose-to-teeth with an angry Ah'mir! And let me tell ya, he smelled like no flower." (Some of these details might be a bit inflated)
Some of his clever ideas might seem baffling or strange to others and he has a hard time putting them into words. Like, why steal or carry things in your mouth? Humans would carry their belongings in bags. Can a dog use a bag? HOW would a dog use a bag? You're not following, are you? And then he becomes frustrated and just roughly drops a small purse around his clanmates neck to try out. "Here."
HISTORY ⌛
≡ A day to love them ≡
They weren't trying to be "mean." They were just a couple of teenage brutes who thought it was funny to make their little brother snarl and snap and shout "it's not funny! Lemme go, you mato'yabi!" And then of course they would laugh even harder when his mama heard him use this foul language (that they had taught him) and dragged him away wailing.
In the end, he grew up close to his big brothers, but his fighting spirit never died. He meshed right in with the rest of Rith'r Flik and grew up as a trusted member of the clan. Growing up alongside him was his best friend Aba'Check, his very own little mouse. Even though she was slightly older than him, the two were thick as thieves. When she inevitably became the general of the clan, Huli cheered her on eagerly as Rali'aba and then again when she stepped up as a proper chief when Li'eliri'fli was killed before his time.
He wasn't entirely shocked when Aba'chek asked him to be her general. After all, the two dogs had grown up as close as siblings and were always sharing strategy plans with one another anyway. Who else would she have picked? Even so, he promised that he would not let her down. He couldn't let her down. He threw himself immediately into his duties as a general with a great gusto. (Everyone probably thought it was pretty obnoxious)
And then only a few months later, many members of the clan were snatched up by Snags and carted off to the shelter for some ungodly reason. It was the first time that Huli had ever been touched by humans and he quickly discovered that he hated it. They made his fur feel oily and they always wanted to touch his mohawk. He lost count of how many fingers he managed to bite before the earthquake hit and freed him from his prison.
He quickly reunited with Chief Aba'check after the earthquake.
