TUK'ENDIRANI / NINI'MUK
OF RITH'R FLIK CLAN
Tuk is a very unwelcoming canine. He is not afraid to yap and alert others of any sort of intrusion or oddity he may uncover. With that comes a very strong sense of bravery, perhaps even to a fault, with a strong hint of stubbornness. There is a joke among those he has been close with that his mother should have named him "Shempsar."
While very distrustful of strangers, Tuk is incredibly friendly with all of those who are a part of the Rith'r Flik clan. To some who have seen him in both scenarios they may have even confused him for two separate dogs. When around strangers he is brash, spunky, and standoffish - this is especially true of all larger canna. When around his own clan - or some smaller loners - he is friendly, boastful, and ready to settle down and share a tale or two of the day's ventures over a freshly caught marmot. His favorite lout! And a name he carries within the safety of the railyard. The nickname came from the canna's innate ability to appear if he heard anyone mention Nini'muk and would, naturally, ask for a share. He views the name as a term of endearment, even if there is some playful jabbing behind it.
Personally, Tuk is not a fan of the Why'o dogs being able to freely roam the forest. However, his loyalty to Chief Mouse knows no bounds. He would gladly give his own life to protect her or any others of his clan.
Tuk was born to a damp, dreary place full of the voices of many canna that cried out constantly in fear and pain. At nearly five weeks old he was removed from his mother and transported to a human-built structure where he could watch them as they walked by on the streets, but found himself unable to pass through their strange barrier.
After being removed by one of the humans whom he had observed walk by, he was again transported to another temporary home. Being the headstrong ren that he was, and clever to boot, he had found ways to escape his confinement by either running out the entry way as the humans swung it open or squeezing under the fence in the grassy area. His short legs did him no favors on these ventures as he was repeatedly scooped up and returned to the abode.
Through constant, vigilant training, Tuk had learned that to come back in from the grassy area he needed only to scratch at the door. However, one evening he was put out before the beginnings of a Rozo'Garuru. Being less than ten weeks old, Tuk found himself horrified and after waiting for what felt like hours outside of the door, he made his escape. Running to desperately escape the booming sounds in the sky.
It only took until the next morning for the scared, damp puppy to be found - though not by humans. A gruff looking French Bulldog and a kind-hearted Dachshund offered him a fresh meal and a place to stay. He was placed alongside a nursing female with her litter of pups that were only a week and a half younger than himself yet far more emotionally grown. Though he was nursed by another female, he felt a strong connection to the Dachshund, Uma'miera, who had found him. In her he found a surrogate mother for all of the qualities such as warmth, security, love, and anything else outside of the comfort of nursing and later, proper weaning.
It was here, with the Rith'r Flik Clan, that he was raised, finding friends and family within his peers. And with this clan and these canna he has remained.
