PERSONALITY ⚘

♔ It takes an hour to appreciate someone ♔

Jarri’hin was always the loudest crier of her litter. The world is a scary place and she much prefers to be snuggled up next to others than all alone. Jarri is a sensitive young soul, and is prone to feeling and expressing her emotions fully and unashamedly. She is very sweet, and tries to be friendly with everyone she meets. What she desires more than anything in the world right now is companionship and protection. After the earthquake, she is scared of being alone and keeps trying to find someone to comfort her, so far without luck. Jarri, on her good days, is a bright and smiley young dog, full of energy and ready to have fun! If she gets spooked it takes her a while to recover. She has abandonment issues stemming from the loss of her parents and siblings, and is prone to being overly clingy without realising it. Her canna name comes from the tears often found in her eyes when she's upset, bestowed upon her by a passing rogue while she was crying outside.

HISTORY ⌛

≡ A day to love them ≡

Rozo’ama Akoda was the start of a five month long nightmare for Jarri’hin. When she awoke, she found herself all alone in the ruins of the shelter. She stayed there for hours, crying and calling out for someone, anyone to come and find her but it was no use. The cold weather drove her to start moving, and she found herself squeezing through a clear plastic door into a house just recently abandoned.

An old collar hung on the mantle, and she could smell that a dog lived here recently, but she couldn’t see him anywhere. There was a large bag of food, recently opened, stashed away in the house luckily, and Jarri gorged herself the first few days, just happy to be eating anything.

As the days turned into weeks, she began slowing down eating, trying to make sure she could actually have enough. Small bugs moved in with her, enjoying the spoils of food going bad in the fridge and left out on counter tops. The little pup snapped up any larvae that were crawling loose on the floor for some extra food.

She began to venture out of the house, looking for anyone to become her new family. In the beginning, there were many strays that were quite rude and snapped at her in their fear about their own new lives. This hurt Jarri deeply, and she spent about a week straight inside her house in order to not have to see such meanies again. She found good company in herself, often talking out loud as if she were with her siblings again. She managed to remain cheery and hopeful despite the odds seemingly not favouring her.
