For one day, he had managed to slip away from the rambunctiousness that was two grey fluffy bundles. Kahru'hu had been relinquished to helping around the greenhouse, and Rayli was off with the newest pups likely wreaking havoc. This is Castor's one day in weeks that he could finally be alone without having to worry about the safety of anyone else. He decided to cross the river, walking through the edge of the city that the Why'os had yet to claim. He had no doubt that Tavi'elu was doing her best to help expand their borders. No matter to him, it would be overzealous for them to cross the river and try to claim Ah'mir land.
Castor found himself walking next to the river, relishing in the sound of the flowing current. It soothed his mind, as if it were one of the stones mindlessly tumbling through the water getting smoothed over with time. He just needed this time to be numb. He was fine with following Li'Greyo's orders, mentoring Kahru, dealing with Rayli's antics. How did his sister do it when her pata were all the same age at the same time. Oh gods how would Rayli be at Kahru's age? It would be work for sure. The slender dog let his mind run in the background as he meandered past the permanently docked boats. His ears and eyes continued to scan, almost robotically, the area around him, just to see if there were any mice or rats rooting through some old trash can. He could at least be productive with his downtime, he figured.
