Nahar had found herself in a new place with new smells and new sounds. Since the earthquake, things for the most part had been okay. Though little, she was able to survive on bugs and left over food abandoned by other animals in the forest. She had grown accustomed to being alone, just her and the chirra she followed. She avoided other animal, especially canna, as she had little remembrance of her life before the incident, and they all seemed to tower over her. and smell funny. They were just as scary to her as any other creature in the forest. She wasn't like other canna; for starters she didn't walk like any other canna, instead she hopped like the chirra around her. The bounding seemed to make it harder for canna to find her, as maybe they mistook her for a thudu. She also didn't smell like any other canna, so moving from place to place without being noticed didn't seem too difficult, not that she was trying.
Today, she had followed the chirra to this forest. She hadn't noticed she had gone further than ever before , but suddenly became very cautious of herself and her movements as she noticed the difference in terrain. She swiftly bound into some bushes and tried to get her grounding. Any where new was intimidating for a small ren. Nahar only had her wits and the sound of the chirra to rely on. When the chirra stopped singing and hopping, something was close by, and it had grown very quiet. A sort of humming in anticipation existed in Nahar and she waited to see if the reason for the halted chirra would show it's face. She peered through the bush she hid under, trying to get a good look at the surrounding area, hoping she wouldn't be spotted.
