Rotzos' wrath knew no bounds. His first shout of anger was devastating, almost ripping apart the clan of dogs that worshipped him and the rest of the pawtheon. Without Rozo'far Skao, its possible that the clan could have dissolved into chaos. He had lost family, friends, clanmates, and even strangers nearby. It was a day he never wanted to re-live, and one that he had always wondered if the gods had sent to him to try and drive him away. They gave him no blessing, perhaps the chaos and strife of the disaster was meant to push him into his own life. And yet, the gods had lead him back to his clan, giving a new blessing to a new chief who had allowed him back under her rule. Perhaps he just wasn't good enough at listening to the gods because they had not spoke to him first.
Maybe it was a trial from the gods. They wanted to test him, see if he was strong enough to persevere through that hardship and to return to them just as willing as before to try to earn a blessing. That was the reality Uma'Maru had chosen to believe. He needed to think that the gods wanted him back with his clan in order to function without an amount of worry that would debilitate him. This was his family, and no god would want him to leave that... right?
His reality shattered around him as Rotzo reared his mighty head once more. Uma's head shot up as he awoke to the ground shaking once more. Within the sanctum of their museum, old bones began their protest to the inconsiderate god. Ancient teeth gnashed, glass that was somehow undamaged by the first shake began to sing, and the very structure of the building began to groan. As quick as it began, the rocking came to a sudden halt and all returned to normality. Uma's head was already tucked to his chest, whispers of prayers to the gods slipping past his lips like water through a brook. He was no stranger to praying to the gods, and this one was a hushed, sincere apology for whatever the canna had done to awaken their most powerful diety. Perhaps Rotzo was not mad, and instead had insisted upon some renovations to Kah'ren as he did those blinks ago.
"Is everyone alright?" The tosa was up on his paws as soon as his prayers were completed. His eyes searched the grounds for Li'Rozo'far, knowing that the slender hound would know just what to do. It didn't sound like anything fell, and there were no sounds of pain like there were when the grimm place fell. As he looked around, a horrid thought struck him. Had he misinterpreted the gods' message the first time? Never before had Rotzo made himself so known to the canna of Kah'ren. Was this another punishment for the pious clan for keeping him around? Now he looked for his leader with a tad more desperation. Only she had the closest idea to what the mighty Rotzo was thinking, after all he had blessed her specifically. Hopefully this was not a premonition that would lose him the only family he had.
