RA'RIMIRI GRAIR'OW OF WHY'O CLAN
PERSONALITY ⚘
♔ It takes an hour to appreciate someone ♔
Friendly, loyal, with a knack for racing.
Ra'rimiri embraces all that it is to be a Why'o canna. She has a friendly demeanor about her that can draw others in to either a leisurely conversation or a challenging race. The only thing they may really avoid her for is her job. Ra does not take her duties as a healer seriously. How could she? It's just giving canna plants to chew on to relieve a sore muscle or applying leaves to stop the bleeding from a superficial cut or scrape they got from running full speed into a tree. "Trees don't move, how did you manage to run into one?" is a thought that she has unapologetically had cross her mind more than once. It is not that she is a bad healer, just her lack of caring that leads her to make simple mistakes. A canna that comes in for a splinter removal from his paw pads may end up not being able to feel his legs for the next hour. Upon making mistakes such as these, the brindle female is always inclined to shrug her shoulders with the mindset of she'll do better next time.
If there is one trait that stands above all else for Ra it is her competitive nature. Because of this she will constantly challenge others to a race. She is quick and she knows it. Plus, any opportunity to stretch her legs is a welcome invitation in her mind. She dreams of one day racing around the entire world with her closest friends within the clan, going on new adventures and discovering everything the world has to offer along their way. Part of this is agitated by her feelings of being cooped up within the bounds of the territory. Given her rank she has grown up being told to stay nearby in case someone is in need of help.
With the Rozo'ama Akoda, Ra has a bright outlook on her own future. She feels as though she has the opportunity to shape her own fate moving forward and is glad that the grimm have disappeared. A sense of adventure when dreaming about what lies beyond in the unknown swells in her chest each night as she dreams of venturing out and exploring these new lands with her clan mates.

HISTORY ⌛
≡ A day to love them ≡
Ra'rimiri was born and raised in the Why'o clan to a pata of two ren. Her earliest memories are of her and her younger sister, Navira'e Hu'Grair, romping and wrestling with each other when they were very small. It was unknown to the brindle pup at the time that her fate had been sealed from the moment she had opened her eyes. However, being the social puppy that she was, at only a little over one moon old she had found a friend for life from another pata. A - at the time - small, white male by the name of Miera'e Grair'Kira. When not playing with either Miera or her sister, Ra was most often found playing with the other. At such a young age she seemed like an endless ball of energy that would never burn out.
Three moons into her life, everything she had ever known had begun to crumble. Having been born with the God's Blessing in her bi-colored eyes, Ra'rimiri was sent off to begin her owi training. While still sharing her home with her family and best friend, she found less and less time was able to be spent with them as both Navira and Miera had begun their training to become ele'canna. The idea of patrolling and exploring the territory, searching for food, and chasing off canna'thi was an intoxicating thought in the young pup's mind, yet whenever she would attempt to join the others she was always brought back to learning about and sorting through the plants and herbs within the healers' quarters. The thoughts were further enticing through the praise she had noticed her parents giving her younger sister after every training day. If they had given her the same encouragement she had hardly noticed as it was overshadowed by her childish jealousy of her sister's accomplishments and position. She, however, would look forward to after she had been excused for the day to rest, always making a point to cuddle up with Navira or Miera - or both! - to listen to the stories of how their days had gone and the new things they had seen and learned.
As time passed, Ra felt as though she saw those she cared about most even less. Instances where she would find Navira with the other ele'cannara and invite her to play often ended in her feeling abandoned or shrugged off as her sister would move on to continue her training. She did find comfort in the white shepherd's active effort to spend time with her. She would often ask him to show some of his newly developed defensive moves taught to defend the territory from strangers, sparring with him when the other owi were not around to make judgemental comments or pull her away to look at and name different plants. Aging also brought out a rebellious stage in the growing female.
A particularly fond memory the brindle mutt holds closely to her was the time that Miera brought her a bundle of strange flowers he had found in an odd spot during one of his patrols with his mentor. He had, however, not known that when bitten into the plants produced a numbing substance, thus leaving him wallowing in the loss of use in his tongue with a fear the effects were permanent. Ra'rimiri had nearly cracked a rib from laughing so hard at her friend's misfortune. However, after assuring him the effects were temporary she had managed to convince him to pull a clan-wide prank with her - leaving the plants in and around the clan's food cache that resulted in many of their clan-mates losing their ability to use their tongues for the next few hours. Ra had gotten away from the incident with only a disapproving look from her mentor, though she never knew of any sort of punishment that may have been dealt to the shepherd.
Graduation into a full-fledged owi was nothing special to Ra. She was just suddenly trusted to make her own healing decisions without having someone constantly watching over her shoulder. However, even with this promotion she still refused to take her job all that seriously.
It was by sheer luck that the Shadowspeaker, Udu'e Canna'a, had entrusted Ra to go out with a patrol to restock some herbs the clan was low on. Overflowing with excitement at being able to venture to the very edges of the territory and outside of it to collect some more rare plants - even if it was just collecting plants - had left the brindle female shaking with excitement. The only thing that made the outing even better was the ele'canna who had been assigned to go out with her. One of them was Navira! Though she was jealous of her sister's rank she was not bitter about it. She completely understood, knowing full well that if the roles were reversed she would have blown off the younger canna just the same. The two's father was also attending which gave Ra the opportunity she had longed for to show off what she could do.
With Navira at the head of the party, the decent sized collection of canna ventured off to leave huff, check for canna'thi huffa, and maybe collect some food along the way - with Ra checking and gathering healing supplies. It wasn't too far into the pack's venture that they came across a group of grimm. After one canna had been snagged they all followed Navira to what they believed was safety. However, trapping the troop within a small, confined space, they collectively fell victim to the snags. Fear and panic overriding all of her other senses, Ra does not have a clear memory of their capture but small snippets and images do play repeatedly in her mind as she sits in the concrete prison of the grimm.

RELATIONSHIPS ❤️
≡ And an eternity to forget them ≡
🐾 Navira'e Hu'Grair | sister
Ra has a strained relationship with her sister - though she does not make it know via her words or actions. Putting up a front to make everything appear as though things are always good between them, her emotions grow more and more sour as time goes on. She does harbor jealousy towards her sister's rank and her views on Navira receiving far more attention from their parents growing up. She also holds a minor grudge for the feelings of abandonment she has from their days as cadets.
🐾 Miera'e Grair'Kira | best friend
Miera is Ra's very best friend and she trusts him with her life. While she is not open about her feelings and emotions with her sister, she has no qualms voicing her complaints towards the shepherd. She oftentimes takes advantage of his friendship and loyalty and, while being open about herself, does not always give him the same courtesy to voice his opinion on things. She will often push him to do activities under the belief that she is helping him to grow.
🐾 Udu'e Canna'a | mentor
Udu'e is, in Ra's opinion, too serious with their job. From what little the brindle canna has experienced in healing it is mainly fixing superficial cuts or belly aches. Though she won't outright show it, she does seek approval from the older female. Even so, part of her blames Udu'e for keeping her on course for her training and thus helping push the notion that Ra's future and "destiny" are out of her own control.
