It's almost poetic that Lendri was born on the tail end of his brother and sister - The very last of his litter to meet the world. From birth, he has always been a follower, quiet and willing to let his siblings take the lead. They do a much better job of it anyway and he's simply not interested in that kind of stuff.

His personality is quiet and observant. If his mother were to plunk him down in the park and leave him there, he would probably sit happily and watch bumblebees buzzing around on dandelions until she came back to retrieve him. In the future this will grow into a nerdy, inquisitive personality that often ends with the Ibizan mix gushing over how "fascinating" his observations on local flora and fauna are...mostly to his long-suffering siblings if they are willing to lend him an ear.

Unfortunately for Lendri, his siblings are both more bold and adventurous than himself. Even when displaying hesitance or spitting excuses about why he should stay home, he is often coaxed into joining their adventures by tempting to his natural curiosity. "There are some amazing blue flowers at the forest border. Don't you want to see them?"

Lendri was born into a perfect little family comprised of an adoring mother and father, a brother, and a sister. His earliest memories are fuzzy but warm. Piling in close with his siblings for a nap, nuzzling into his mother's soft belly, and a nearly faceless father figure - His features elude Lendri, probably because his eyesight was still blurry when his dad was Emle Grimm. Taken by humans.

The day the humans came, they took the life of Lendri's father and stole his mother and her litter away from the rest of the clan. They huddled together in the shelter, frightened and cold, for two days before the earthquake came and literally shook their world apart.

Tavi was able to escape and carry two of her pata, Lendri and Haka'far, to safety. Kira was left trapped in the building after it crumbled.

Tavi left her sons safely tucked under a bush beside the road before racing to save her buried daughter. She succeeded, and Lendri and his siblings were all brought back to the abandoned prison to be raised as Why'os.

When Lendri was around 3 months old, he fell down the stairs and broke his front leg. He was tended diligently by the healers and quickly discovered that he loves learning about plants and healing. It wasn't long before he was asked if he wanted to become a healer's apprentice and he quickly accepted. He was paired up with the Shadowspeaker, Udu'e, but since she was already teaching Kitchi-Kitchi, Lendi was eventually passed along to Likal'e instead.
