Jarri was nervous that Li'Navira was going to punish Haka for his mean mean comment, but luckily the merle canna showed her once again that she really was very kind. She explained clearly and continued the story. The little brown pup's breath caught in her throat as she listened. She remembered vaguely the collapse of the walls around her. There were a lot of smells and sounds, crying and wailing from lots of canna around her that she could barely remember now that she had made herself a home in the Why'o clan. Were they her first family? Did she have one? Her friends were really lucky that they had been taken out of the rubble. It hadn't even occurred to her that they would have been in the same place at the same time, especially since by the time she had scrambled her way out of the rubble there were hardly any canna still around.
She tilted her head back as Haka asked about his father before it quickly flicked over to Kitchi. She really did feel bad for the other healer's apprentice. Jarri hadn't realised that Kitchi had lost her whole family in the disaster too... maybe they had more in common than she had first thought. The small canna rose to her paws, gingerly making her way towards the fuming itchy Kitchi. "Well, Li'Navira said we'll all be able to hear them and be with them again one day. I know how you feel, and it's really hard. Isn't it a little nice though that we can still hear them and see them again?" She sweetly suggested to her, a sadness behind her increasingly glassy eyes hoping to break through the rough exterior of her fellow Why'o.
