The forest was silent. It was silent in a way that made Rah'ki's hackles stand on end, even as he led the way at the front of his hunting patrol. His tail was held in the air, as stiff and still as his perked ears.
He would never tell Navira this but he wasn't all that sure of what to think about the alliance with the Rith'r Flik Clan. On one paw, he figured the less threats the Why'o faced, the better. On the other, he felt that the Why'o needed to focus on themselves. But, again, he'd never tell Navira.
Which meant that when he saw she was stressed about hunting in the forest, he'd offered to gather a patrol to meet the Rith'r Flik corporals. The meeting point was an old oak tree, with thick gnarled roots. And the fact that it was old was WEIRD, considering the forest hadn't existed until the Rozo'ama Akoda...
Arriving at the meeting point, Rah'ki saw they were the first to arrive, and he leaped up to one of the most gnarled roots to take a seat. "Stay close." he yipped quietly to his Clanmates. "And stay alert."
