Turn your eyes to the stars, below that midnight sea stands the grand museum of the Rot'zo Haeda. Within its walls, the bones of ancient beasts loom over the shadows of dogs. Known for their fanciful adornments and sacred rituals on hallowed nights, Rot'zo Haeda are the devout followers of the canna's gods.

Placing their clan on a pedestal, Haeda are unwelcoming of outsiders who they view as sacrilegous. With their gods as their guides, the shadowspeaker has just as much power in the clan as the chief. Hold your head proudly for you are a Rot'zo Haeda, the blessed followers of the gods.

CHARACTERISTICS

Devout

The Rot'zo Haeda show no being with more respect and reverance than the gods. Their lives are heavily centered around honoring the gods. Every lout is dedicated to the gods. Every canna is blessed by a god. A sacrilegious act is deserving of banishment.

Proud

A Rot'zo Haeda is prideful. With their clan at their center, all others are seen as lesser. Never will they bow their head to the undeserving. An insult to Rot'zo Haeda is an insult to the clan and must be paid back.

Pedigree

Rot'zo Haeda's blood runs strong in its clan members. A dog born and raised in the clan will be more respected than an outsider than joins. One's birth and the reputation of one's parents affects a dog's station in the clan just as much as their blessing.

Clean

A Rot'zo Haeda is always clean. Clan members must always keep a coat spotless of dirt, mud, and other debris. To have a dirty coat is an insult to the gods. At the end of the day, all Haeda must wash themselves in the river.

TRADITIONS

Guiding Star

All dogs are born under a guiding star as the Rot'zo Haeda believe. At a canna's birth, one of the gods will grant them their blessing. The shadowspeaker, in a vision or by reading the stars, will determine which blessing a pup was granted at their birth. For older dogs, the shadowspeaker will meet with them the night they join the clan to read the stars and determine the dog's blessing. The Gods' blessing will guide the dog's life and protect them from danger.

Rot'zo's blessing: the grestest and rarest of the blessings. A canna blessed by Rot'zo is destinated for greatness. They are certain to acoomplish great deeds and be a canna of unmatched leadership and strength. The chief is said to have the strongest blessing of Rot'zo.

Ridna'kah's blessing: a blessing for the free. Those with Ridna's blessing are wild and playful. They can always be trusted to maintain the peace. The one most loved by Ridna'kah is said to become general.

Rahani'hu's blessing: a blessing for those strong of heart. Ranhani's blessed are loving and kind. There is no other dog one could trust more than one with Rahani'hu's blessing. With a gentle heart and boundless wisdom, they are the canna who will become the clan's healers. The one with Rahani'hu's heart is blessed to become shadowspeaker.

Rumblier's blessing: for those that are unwavering. Those with Rumblier's blessing may drive fear in others. For as frightening as the shadows may be, these canna are the undaunted, unshaken, and unseen foundation of the clan. No matter who, they treat all equally.

U'less' blessing: the mischievous are those granted U'less' blessing. U'less' blessed are prone to trouble. They may seek it out or it may come to them regardless of their own wishes. Sly and wily, they have a quick wit and a silver tongue. To be blessed by U'less is to live a life of the unexpected.

Restephus' blessing: a blessing for the strong. To be blessed by Restephus does not mean to be wicked of heart. Restephus' blessing grants strenght and fearlessness. These canna can always be trusted to protect the clan with unrivaled strength. Restephus may have been wicked, but his blessed are not.

The Gods' Dress

For celebrations, ceremonies, and events of importance, clan members will dress themselves in bones, feathers, plants, and all sorts of items to imitate the appearance of the gods. The chief, general, and shadowspeaker, especially, will dress the most elaborately of all the clan. Skulls are reserved for special occasions and important events. On the day to day, dogs may wear a few small items such as feathers or plants.

Dance of Celestials

Whenever an eclipse, special moon or meteor shower occurs, it is seen as a message from the gods either in anger or happiness. A ceremony is performed on those nights. With the canna adorned in their ornaments, the dogs dance and sing beneath the celestial lights. The stories of the gods are shared, and names and blessings may change. For the duration of the celestial event, the dogs celebrate to appease and honor the gods.

CLAN BASE

Nestled by the sky, accented by the roar of the waves, a dilapted museum stands testament to days past. Loaming within every room and corridor, skeletons and depictions of creatures long gone decorate the halls. Within its vaulted ceiling and spacious rooms resides Rot'zo Haeda Clan. Once bustling with curous minds, the canna now roam the halls of ghosts and spirits.

The canna can mostly be found in the large central chamber with its high arched ceiling. Lout is brought here to be shared with the clan. A dog may sleep anywhere within the museum, but often chose to nest underneath a skeleton. In the center, beneath the shadow of a colassus, the clan chief makes their den.
